A depleted Boston Whitecaps traveled to Philadelphia to face a Spinners team in need of a win. After going down two breaks in the first quarter, the Spinners put together four consistent quarters to win 26-25.

The game was held at Sweeney Field at St. Joe’s University, which proved to be an excellent venue for the sport. Fans were overflowing the stands, wrapping all around the hillside.
